Every third month I give Douglas a visit to enjoy special treatment, which (usually) includes good consulting (which make-up, concealer, blush etc., would suit me best), the removal of my „old“ make-up, pampering my skin with exquisite beauty products and getting a new make-up. Tell me one girl that wouldn’t enjoy that!
So I went to Douglas to get my treatment and after applying the foundation the sales woman asked me if I’d like to try the long-wear cream shadow, which is waterproof, which is so useful in summer and bathing and so on. First I thought „Why would I wear eysshadow when spending the day with bathing and tanning?!“, but then I decided to let her apply her supercool product and see how it looks like.
I know it’s a marketing strategy and sometimes this is really annoying to me, but on other days I’m like „Hmmm, let’s give it a try!“. The other day I fell for the presentation, the arguments of the sales lady and the product itself – Now I’m really glad I did.
This eyeshadow is incredible! Normally the eye shadows I use disappear after a short time, or even worse: hide in my eyelid wrinkles, but not this one! It abounds even the hot days and still looks great after 12 hours at work – without air condition!
On the Beautyflea market I saw one and told my mother to buy it, because I knew she would love it too and she does! The best way to apply the cream shadow is to use a brush, my mother uses her finger, because she has the feeling that too much of the cream shadow stays in the brush and I guess she’s not that wrong.
Zirka jedes dritte Monat besuche ich eine Douglas Filiale um mir dort eine besondere Behandlung „abzuholen“, welche (normalerweise) eine gute Beratung (welches MAke-Up, Concealer, Rouge passen am Besten zu mir etc.), die Entfernung meines „alten“ Make-Ups, sowie ein komplett neues Make-Up, enthält. Nennt mir ein Mädl, dass das nicht toll finden würde!
Also bin ich letztens wieder bei Douglas gegangen um meine Behandlung zu bekommen und nachdem mir die Verkäuferin die Foundation aufgetragen hatte, fragte sie mich ob ich den Long-Wear Cream Shadow ausprobieren will, der wasserfest ist, weil der ja so praktisch ist im Sommer, vor allem wenn man schwimmen geht und so weiter und so fort. Zuerst dachte ich mir „Warum sollte ich Lidschatten tragen wenn ich den ganzen Tag mit schwimmen und in der Sonnne liegen verbringe?!“, aber dann habe ich mich dazu entschieden sie ihr supercooles Produkt auftragen zu lassen und zu sehen wie es wirkt.
Ich weiß, es ist eine Marketing Strategie und manchmal nervt mich diese Masche auch wirklich, aber dann gibt es wieder Tage an denen ich denke „Ach, was solls, ich schaus mir mal an!“. Letztens bin ich dann eben der Präsentation, den Argumenten der Verkäuferin und dem Produkt selbst verfallen – jetzt bin ich so froh, dass ich es getan habe!
Der Lidschatten ist einfach der Hammer! Normalerweise verschwinden die Lidschatten, welche ich für gewöhnlich benutze nach kurzer Zeit, oder nicht schlimmer „verstecken“ sich in den Lidfalten, aber nicht dieser! Er strotzt selbst diesen heißen Tagen und sieht nach 12 Stunden in der Arbeit – ohne Klimaanlage – immer noch großartig aus!
Am Beautyflohmarkt habe ich einen gesehen und meiner Mutter gesagt, sie muss ihn kaufen, weil ich wusste, dass sie ihn lieben würde und das tut sie! Aufzutragen ist er meines Empfinden nach am Besten mit einem Pinsel, meine Mutter trägt ihn jedoch mit dem Finger auf, da sie das Gefühl hat, dass im Pinsel zu viel des Eyeshadow verloren geht, wobei ich ihr nicht ganz unrecht geben muss.
